Coach Josh Lee

Varsity Head Coach

Coach Josh Lee is the Head Baseball Coach at Newport Harbor High School. Coach Lee was a stand-out high school pitcher and outfielder in Orange County. After a 3-year Varsity baseball career he pitched at OCC in 2009 and 2010, helping lead the team to their first State and National Junior College Championship in 2009, their first since 1986. While at OCC he played for legendary Baseball Coach John Altobelli, a 1981 Newport Harbor graduate. Coach continued his collegiate career at CSUSB, where he was a two-time All-CCAA Conference Selection.

His most recent coaching experience was as the Head Coach at North High School in Torrance where he led his team to their first CIF Semi-Finals appearance in over 30 years. Prior to that he spent four years as a coach at Mater Dei High School and has also worked with Quakes Baseball Academy in the past.

Coach Wyatt Hahn

Varsity Pitching Coach

Coach Wyatt Hahn is the Varsity Pitching Coach at Newport Harbor High School. Coach Hahn played at Mission Viejo High School and later at Chapman University. Upon graduation, Coach Hahn began his coaching career at his alma matter, Mission Viejo High School. He began as a Freshman Head Coach but quickly worked his way up to be a Varsity Assistant Coach. After accepting a job in Newport-Mesa Unified School District Coach Hahn came to Newport Harbor High School and joined the staff in his current role as Varsity Pitching Coach. Coach Hahn is Rapsodo and Driveline certified and looks forward to helping our high school and youth players reach their baseball goals through cutting edge technology and top-of-the-line information.

Coach Brett Krill

Varsity Associate Head Coach

Coach Brett Krill is the Varsity Associate Head Coach at Newport Harbor High School. Coach Krill played at Aliso Niguel High School and went on to play collegiately at UCLA and professionally for the SF Giants. After his professional career, Coach Krill became Varsity Associate Head Coach at Aliso Niguel and Dana Hills High School and served as Program Director for Quakes Baseball Academy. Coach Krill currently runs our Newport Anchors Baseball Club for 7th and 8th graders, helping to develop future Sailors.
