Coach Matt Stringham

Head Freshman Coach

Coach Matt Stringham is the Head Freshman baseball coach. He grew up in Utah and was a 2 year All-State first baseman at Provo High School (91). After high school Coach Stringham played collegiately at Brigham Young University where he was a 4 year letterman and was voted All-WAC in 1996 as a junior by hitting .438 which was in the Top 10 in the NCAA. (92, 95-97)

After college he played professionally in Europe (Sweden) and for the past 5 years has been coaching his son in the Costa Mesa Little League. Coach Stringham lives in Newport Beach and is married to his wife, Chelsie. They have three children Ansofie, Parker and Amelia.

Coach Noah McDaniel

Assistant Freshman Coach

Coach Noah McDaniel is Assistant Freshman Coach at Newport Harbor High School. Coach McDaniel played 4 years of baseball at Aliso Niguel High School and went on to play collegiate baseball. In addition to working with the Freshman squad, he currently coaches with Quakes Baseball Academy. Coach McDaniel specializes in hitting and catcher work.
