Coach Matt Waterman
Head Junior Varsity Coach
Coach Matt Waterman is the Head Junior Varsity Coach at Newport Harbor High School. Coach Waterman played at Los Alamitos High School and later at Long Beach State playing NCBA Club Baseball. He began his coaching career in Long Beach, coaching in the Dodgers RBI Youth Program and later running the program for the City of Long Beach for two years. He then returned to CSULB to coach the NCBA Club Baseball team for two seasons helping the team win its first Fall Season Wood Bat Tournament.
Coach Waterman accepted his current role after Student Teaching at Newport Harbor High School in order to complete his teaching credential program.
